Last December I teamed with local company 'Metal Dog Media' to shoot a set of documentaries for Coventry City Council help to archive the 5 year regeneration of Far Gosford Street, Coventry.
It was more than cold in the depths of December so these days were long but nothing a trustee thermos flask couldn't handle.
Shooting on a Sony PMW EX3 with a Red Rock Micro M2 adapter was a delight. Over/under cranking footage in the camera was a joy - if only you could do this whilst recording.. We used 20mm, 50mm and 105mm prime lenses to achieve the shallow focus. the second unit camera was a Sony HVR A1e and a Sony Z5. Both cracking toys :)
